MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ETTALONG BOWLING CLUB TO COMMENCE MAJOR RENOVATIONS

Following extensive consultation and final approvals, Ettalong Bowling Club will commence its major redevelopment of its premises in early March 2026.

After a lengthy and detailed planning and design process, the Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Cliffords Constructions as the builder responsible for the construction and fit-out of the project.

DACCA Architecture has been engaged as the principal design consultant. With extensive industry experience and an award-winning portfolio, DACCA Architecture has worked closely with the Club to deliver a contemporary design that pushes boundaries while remaining respectful of the Club’s proud history. The redevelopment reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to reinvesting its financial strength into improved amenities, greater operational efficiencies, and a more connected and sustainable club for generations to come.

Stage One of the project will deliver significant upgrades, including the creation of a vibrant dining precinct featuring a new main bar, lounge, café and a range of seating options, including alfresco dining and a dedicated children’s play area. Members and guests will enjoy a diverse dining offering, including modern Australian cuisine, Asian fusion, a carvery, wood-fired pizzas, and a wide selection of classical favourites.

While some inconvenience to patrons is unavoidable, the Club has carefully staged the works to minimise disruption and allow the Club to continue trading throughout the redevelopment.

During Stage One, the main lounge and existing main bar area will be closed. Works will also include significant upgrades to the southern side of the car park and a substantial expansion of the Club’s back of house facilities. All other areas of the Club, including alfresco restaurant, sports lounge and auditorium will remain operational.

Upon completion of Stage One, works will progress to the auditorium and other areas of the Club. Future stages will include upgraded bowls facilities, refreshed function spaces, and enhanced entertainment and sports lounge areas.
